Leonids: 1999
During 1998 I wrote a summary of all of the observations I had received about the Leonid display of November 17/18. This year I have received numerous observations and requests to do the same, but since I was out of the country I was not in a position to update my website. I thought about doing a quick summary when I got back, but with over 4000 e-mail messages, I gave up. Fortunately, there were others providing summaries for the 1999 display and what follows are some of the web sites I have seen. By the way, I was on the 1999 Leonid MAC mission watching the Leonid storm over the Mediterranean Sea. My complete report, with pictures, is located here.
